Full name

[edit]

What is his full name? Is it Harvey Daniel James Elliott or Harvey Scott Elliott? There are two serious sources (Premier League and FIFA), so I put in both. --HSV1887 (talk) 16:16, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The EFL Championship also says Harvey Daniel James [1]. But why is the FIFA wrong? I think the FIFA checks the passports of the players and so they know all full names. But the Leagues are checking the passports too, when a player wants to have the eligibility to play. Can't understand, why they have two different names. --HSV1887 (talk) 16:19, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Avoid that single-sentence para opening the lead.  Done Hope the Mirror ref won't cause problems
  • I'd include his youth club in the lead too.  Done
  • Could link Premier League records and statistics for the "youngest player to play in the Premier League".  Done
  • "train so he could develop a professional attitude towards training" train/training. repetitive.  Done
  • "Elliott was in the Fulham Academy" sounds odd, when did he join? What about QPR which is in the infobox and nowhere else?  Done
  • Link New Malden.  Done
  • "as a ... as an..." repetitive in one sentence.  Done
  • "in the EFL Cup away" what round?  Done
  • "made his league debut" perhaps say Premier League here.  Done
  • "in an EFL Cup match" you link "EFL Cup" a couple of times, so it's confusing, this one is to the specific competition, so rephrase to make that clear, like "in that season's EFL Cup"?  Done
  • "Elliott made his..." He made.  Done
  • "EFL Young Player of the Season" link? EFL Awards?  Done
  • "Championship season.[citation needed] " speaks for itself.  Done
  • "Liverpool pn 21" on  Done
  • "playing 90 minutes" the whole match.  Done
  • "2019 Syrenka Cup" what is that?  Done
  • "the final from the spot" clarify to non-experts, a Penalty kick (association football).  Done
  • Ref 24 needs an en-dash, not a hyphen.  Done
  • Ref 16 (for example) is a BBC ref, yet has no publication date, unlike the others. Please fix and check all other such refs.  Done
  • That ref also has an author who should be included in the ref details.  Done
  • Scorelines in reference titles should use en-dash, not hyphens.  Done

That's all I have for now. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 21:17, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

REDMAN 2019 any update on progress? I imagine, given recent events, the article will need some cleaning up? The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 09:33, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Rambling Man, I have been busy recently and progress has been slow but I will try and address your concerns as soon as possible. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 17:04, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@The Rambling Man:, I have now addressed all of your concerns and updated the article. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 16:26, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It could now use an update since the operation "was expected" to have happened on 14 September... But I'll pass it because the nature of this kind of article is that it will always need to be updated for the next 20 years or more. Incorrect name

[edit]

Harvey Scott Elliott is Harvey's full name. I am his dad. If you need a passport or something as proof I can supply. 2A00:23C6:7A05:F901:57:F56E:9287:74B9 (talk) 17:09, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Player of the month

[edit]

He won the player of the month award for Liverpool why you remove Ayden henbury (talk) 00:03, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It was removed, not by me, as there was no reliable source to support inclusion. Keith D (talk) 19:55, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Probably not the correct full name from the sources I've seen. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 21:52, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
